Mood: waiting for wind
6th September 2009
Windsurfing: Hayling Island IOTB - NWF
Wind Direction: W
Wind Stength: light
Surf / Sea State: choppy
Air Temperature: ok
Sea Temperature: ok
Weather: sunny and light winds
Max Speed:
Distance Covered:

Cracking event, superb organisation by the Copper Topped Kernel.
Wind was bit light, just about ok on 7.3m with the hawk 123, but would have been better on either a wider board, or with the 8.4m
Was ok while the masses were in the briefing, and I was having a peaceful time on the water testing the course, but as soon as the masses were out, the wind shadow and water state meant bigger was essential.
Still, cracking day ... weekend even ... but as windsurfing 'sessions' go, only scores average TBH
Cool to catch up with loadsa folks I'd not seen in a while, so socially was a 5* session ;-)
Toys Used:
Fanatic Hawk Ltd 123
North Ram 7.3m
